Creating Abundance is Your Birthright: How to Free Yourself From The Belief in Scarcity and Competition

HJ: Creating abundance is your sacred birthright.  Scarcity and competition do not actually exist in nature, we have simply projected our perceptions and ideas on to the natural world and assumed we are correct.  However, it is clear from looking at any fruit tree that abundance is unlimited.  The same fruit tree will continue to produce food for 100’s of years without fail and, in fact, the whole universe operates on this principle of enlargement and the creation of many from one.  There is unlimited energy available, but we need to first develop the proper technology to harness it.  There is unlimited water available, we only need first discover the technology to purify waste and/or a  technology to create it.  We are on the verge of both these things on a massive scale, however, abundance is not profitable and so we have been taught to believe in scarcity and competition.  The idea of scarcity means the prices of goods, services and resources go up over time and benefits those who control the supply.  Suffice it to say we have been mislead greatly and it’s truly time for us to learn to recognize abundance in the world around us and tap into our own inner reserves that play a part in creating it.

The idea of abundance and scarcity is much more than just an abstract concept.  It very tangibly affects how you approach life.  Those who believe in abundance tend to be open, loving, sharing, kind, caring and aware.  Those who believe strongly in scarcity tend to become cynical, fearful, paranoid, selfish and guarded.  And this is perfectly understandable because the idea of scarcity makes you feel like you are in survival mode — in competition for a finite group of resources that will eventually run out.  A self/worldview of abundance reminds you of the limitless nature of the universe and the self.  It instills trust and wonder and helps you more deeply connect to yourself, the world around you and others.  Sharing becomes your modus operandi instead of competition.  It changes everything.

So, which are you going to choose?

Can We Have It All?

Creation vs. competition.

By Esther and Jerry Hicks | Heal Your Life

When the living of your life causes you to desire an improvement—your Vibrational request for that improvement sets forth the process of the attraction.

A QUESTION FOR ABRAHAM: You said that we can have it all, but how does that work when there are others also wanting it all? What keeps our desires from clashing?

Abraham’s reply: There is a very large flawed premise that must be reconciled here before you will be able to understand our answer to your very important question. The flawed premise is this:

There is a finite container of resources that we are all dipping into with our requests. Therefore, when I satisfy my request for something, I deprive others of that resource. All of the abundance, resources, and solutions already exist, merely waiting to be discovered; and if someone else gets there first, then the rest of us will be deprived of that discovery.

What many are regarding as the “discovery” of abundance or resources or solutions, we want you to understand is actually the “creation” of abundance, resources, and solutions. When the living of your life causes you to desire an improvement—your Vibrational request for that improvement sets forth the process of the attraction and actualization of that improvement. In living your Leading Edge lives, you are not merely discovering improved benefits. You are creating them.

Many people deprive themselves of much that they desire because of their misunderstanding of the ever-evolving, ever-expanding, ever-created pool of resources. If you do not understand the Creative Process of your planet, and the important role that you play in the expansion, you may fall into the ranks of the many who experience the shortage Consciousness that is caused by this misunderstanding.

This misunderstanding is at the heart of the feeling of competition. You did not come here to compete for the resources of your planet. You came as creators. If your time-space reality has the wherewithal to inspire a desire within you, it is our absolute promise to you that your time-space reality has the ability to deliver, in full-manifested form, the reality of the desire it has inspired. You came here knowing that; and until you remember it fully, and apply it deliberately, you will pinch yourself off from your largest of resources—the clarity, knowledge, and Energy of your Source. That is truly the only shortage that can exist in your world; and it is wonderful when you realize that that shortage is always, without exception, self-inflicted.

And so, you are not in competition with the others who share your planet. They could never deprive you of something by taking it for themselves. In fact, their existenceenhances your ability to receive, for in your interaction with them, your own desires are inspired. Any and all desires can be fulfilled unless you are holding yourself out of alignment with your own desire. The feeling of competition or shortage, or limitation of resources, means you are out of alignment with your own desire.
