This is the Deepest Humanity Has Ever Seen Into Space

By Truth | The Healers Journal

This photo recently released by NASA is the deepest humanity has ever been able to see into space.  Titled the Extreme Deep Field (XDF), it is a sequel to the previous record holder, the Hubble Ultra-Deep Field, which was shot over a 4 month period in 2003-2004 (yes, these pictures take months to composite).  It took nearly 10 years worth of Hubble space photography composited together to create the image which shows over 5,500 galaxies.  Many of the captured galaxies are one ten-billionth the brightness of what the naked human eye can see.

To capture an image like this takes a combined 23 days of exposure time spread out over a 50 day period.  The resulting 2,000 captured images are then meticulously crafted into a final picture giving us the deepest view of space we have ever recorded.

Here’s an interesting fact:  The Universe is estimated to be approximately 13.7 billion years old.  This image shows galaxies that are 13.2 billion years old.  What lies beyond this depth is anyone’s guess…
